A friend of mine, Helen, is a gardener and she was painting (Freudian slip, I meant planting ) out a border of perennial plants and wanted to get it done before her client returned home and before it started to rain. As we were drinking tea and chatting, before her client came home and before it started to rain we talk about creating the border of perennial  plants and concluded you could not rush such a task if you wanted to get it right and we coined the phrase ‘creativity has it own pace, it cannot be rushed’. If, for instance, you rush a painting you will miss something out, not just a detail in the painting but the emotional bit of the creativity, well thats what we thought anyway.
